International Leadership Conference

Hi All

I am currently in Bangkok waiting for a flight out and reflecting on the last few days.

I have been in Brighton, England with about 4000 leaders whose purpose is to make Christ famous across the Earth.

It really has been a memorable conference. For those of you who know Kate Simmonds, from the outset she set a fantastic tone in worship. If you are in the Sydney Church you would have been so proud of her and of Simon Brading who is the son of Steve and Ruth Brading [and also led worship excellently].

I Think I have 3 major reflections to share before I get on the plane [with more to follow on my return I'm sure].

  • Firstly God is VERY GOOD! Throughout the conference I think everyone felt the pleasure and favour of God on us as a family of Churches in a phenomenal way.
  • Secondly I would simply say we are very blessed to have had and continue to have a Godly Gracious man like Terry Virgo
at the helm. I would urge you to take time to listen to the three words he brought at the conference with Thursday afternoon being particularly significant as he outlined future plans.

  • Thirdly I would say I return with renewed faith and expectation that God will build a great and substantial Newfrontiers Church in Sydney.

To Him be ALL THE GLORY!

Much Love in Christ

Peter

PS Just a little tip for you: Don't jump off platforms in worship times - It's Dangerous!
