Brainwashed??

On Sunday night I had the the pleasure of hearing Dr John Hartnett from Creation Ministries (www.creation.com) speak on creation and Gods amazing world. I suppose above anything I was impressed by 2 things.

Firstly, the manner in which John and his team including Dr Mark and Jenny Harwood came to the Church was amazing. They are full of Gods grace and demonstrated massive patience in answering privately so many questions. Compared to the aggressive and harsh way I have seen men like Richard Dawkins (a confirmed atheist and crusading evolutionist) slam down people it was "chalk and cheese".

Secondly, I can only say that everything they said made sense. It was not based on wild speculation nor did there seem to be massive gaps in it where trite comments concerning millions and billions of years were supposed to cover all the things that an evolution position cannot explain.

These days one is considered a fool and "out there with the fairies" if you don't just swallow the million and billions of years world view and the "fact" that we all came from apes. For someone who does not crusade on this issue I am more and more convinced that not only is the Bible a history book but it is completely accurate and presents a history that is clear, wonderful and which holds together on every level.
