FP Impact Sydney is a course for young people to grow in their knowledge and relationship with God and to experience different aspects of ministry and serving God.
Why?
A year spent on FP Impact Sydney provides an excellent starting point for a life of devotion to God. Like many before you, come and get trained up and sent out. You will also be able to enjoy the beauty of Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
What?
The main two elements of training are:
Theological teaching and study, combined with skills training. Spread across the course, this element provides a systematic theological framework, covering major doctrines. The skills training covers a range of topics; such as church planting, evangelism and working with kids, youth or student work. Senior Newfrontiers leaders give students first hand vision and values in an informal and interactive style, with time for questions and discussion. Learning is followed up with assignments.
Project work based in Grace City Church, the Newfrontiers church in Sydney. Trainees will receive personal mentoring, training and support throughout the project.
The 33 week course starts with attending Newday Pacific Rim and then follows a weekly program that includes weekly theological training, mentoring, outreach and prayer.
How?
Trainees will be based at Grace City Church which is the Newfrontiers church in Collaroy, Sydney, Australia. They will receive training (formal & informal), work on projects in the church and complete assignments.

Who?
Everyone who is over eighteen belonging to a church which is part of the Newfrontiers family of churches.
An Elder’s reference will be required as part of the application process.
When?
FP Impact Sydney will run from mid Jan 2012 to the end of Aug 2012.
For those that want to continue the course through to the end of 2012 we are also offering FP Impact Extension which is an additional 12 week course that runs from Sep 2012 to Dec 2012.
How much?
The cost for FP Impact Sydney is $4,290.00 (Australian Dollars). This includes full board and lodging for the 33 week duration of the course. The weekly cost is roughly half the normal cost for a room and full board. It also includes the cost of Newday Pacific Rim, Grace City Church Leaders Weekend away and text books. Trainees may get part-time work and will have Saturday & Monday free for this. (If you are from Grace City Church in Sydney then please speak to Mike for local pricing)
NB - The costs of flights to and from Sydney, Australia and Australian Visa charges are not included in this cost.
FP Impact Extension will cost an additional $1,560 (Australian Dollars).
