Worship team leaders

The Grace City Church worship team is led by Miles and Kate Simmonds who, as a result of life-changing encounters with God at the revival in Pensacola, Florida in 1997, have a desire to see the local church in revival, affecting the nations.

Miles has played keyboards in worship for 20 years and Kate is an experienced worship leader who has led worship at many national events in the UK such as Stoneleigh Bible Week, Newfrontiers' Together on a Mission conferences, Spring Harvest and Kingsway Music's Mission:Worship conferences, and also in Europe, Canada and the USA.

Miles and Kate were previously based at Church of Christ the King in Brighton, England with Peter Brooks as their pastor. They led the worship team there which also includes Stuart Townend, Paul Oakley, Simon Brading and Phatfish. In 2007, Miles, Kate and their son Matthew joined Peter and Susan in Sydney to serve Grace City Church.

They, and other members of the team, are increasingly visiting other Newfrontiers churches in the Pacific Rim region, to train and encourage other worship leaders and musicians.
