Spirit-led Worship

One of our core values is ‘Spirit-led worship’.

A distinguishing feature of our worship times is that we welcome and encourage the gifts of the Holy Spirit from among the congregation as described in 1 Corinthians 12-14, such as prophecy and prophetic song, and tongues and interpretation. While our worship team is diligent in rehearsing musical arrangements and preparing song lists, one unique skills area required of our worship leaders and musicians is the ability to leave space for, and initiate and respond to, these spontaneous spiritual gifts and songs.

We simply aim to be “in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25) and follow His, rather than our own, agenda.
