GOD invented SEX and CHRISTIANITY embraces it WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

A British train station is trying to take the romance out of the morning commute by erecting a no-kissing sign, seen above. "We have not banned kissing in the station," insisted a spokesman for operators Virgin Rail. "But we have put the sign up at the drop off point because it is not a very big area and it often gets busy with lots of traffic. "The sign is a light-hearted way of getting people to move on quickly. "If people wish to spend a little more time with their loved ones before they leave, then they should park in the short-stay car park nearby."
When I saw this sign it provoked me concerning many peoples perception of Christianity and sex. Often people think that the no kissing sign just about summarises Gods view of sex.
Mark Driscoll a well known preacher in the USA recently ran a teaching series on sex where he presented the wonder of what God had created in the context of marriage. Apparently the attendances were huge as many made the discovery that Christianity,Sex and God are all very compatible.
I often feel the world is obsessed unfortunately with lust rather than love.
There is a devalueing of the beauty of what God intends, to a level that is often crass, base and to be honest boring. God is neither boring nor crass. He wants his creation to enjoy his creativity in the most satisfying context which is of course marriage.
God is certainly not a killjoy infact he creates what is amazing and gives it to the human race to enjoy .
Living in the center of Gods plan is not only satisfying but central to respecting those from the opposite sex who will one day more than likely be joined in marriage to someone else.
There is much one could say on this subject but I am simply provoked by the sign to say God is a fantastic God and whatever your marital status he loves you and wants the best for you. Jesus lived as a wonderful example to us all, in his regard and respect for the women around him. He also had great mates and showed men how to really live.
Have a great week
